What is Staff App?

Staff App is a simple, user friendly work force management tool.  It supports businesses with the management of all staffing and customer needs and is specifically designed for small businesses.  Staff App is the only tool you’ll need to manage rostering, timesheets, leave and availability, record keeping and payroll integration and much more…

Yes, this is simple and can be easily implemented.  We have a Tutorial video which focuses on Scheduling and Rostering.  It guides you through the steps to ensure all your business needs are met and you have the correct staffing fulfilment when needed.  It will show you how to create rosters and how to manage your available and unavailable employees to ensure jobs and shifts are completed efficiently.

Adding new staff and employees can be done from your Staff menu and is quick and easy.

Enter in your employee’s basic details and an Invitation will be automatically emailed to them with a link to download Staff App and complete their registration.  Our Tutorial video covering Staff Management goes through each step of adding new employees and staff. 

There are no limitations to the number of employees you can have using Staff App.  We offer different Subscription plans which will ensure the best solution and ongoing usage for you and your business.

Absolutely, easily and quickly.  A notification advising you of their leave request is automatically sent to you as soon as submitted for you to approve or deny.

You can process requests and view upcoming leave in the Leave Calendar.  Additionally you view each individual staff members leave history on their profile page.

To manage your business Staff App is a web-based solution compatible with all major internet browsers.

The employee App can be used with all Apple and Android devices.

Employees will be able to view their roster through the app and then advise you if they’re unable to work or need to swap shifts or days with another staff member.  You will receive a notification on your dashboard. Any changes to shifts or jobs will need to be approved by you in the first instance.  More information relating to Shifts and Rosters can be viewed in our Staff Management Tutorial video

All your employees will receive an email invitation to sign up to Staff App, which will enable them to create a profile page, view all their shifts and rosters, submit leave requests and change hours worked and also to log their hours through clocking in.

Clocking in and clocking out is really easy to do from all mobile devices.  This will ensure employees receive their correct hours worked and correct renumeration.  All current and new employees are encouraged to watch our Tutorial video on Employees using the App and this will go through how easy and straight forward it is to clock in for a shift or job.  

Location tracking is only used within the proximity of their work location, set by you.

Staff App uses Location for Clocking in and Clocking out for your employees.  You can set a location proximity for this to your business or businesses.

Not a problem!  The shift will be highlighted as unallocated to alert you to complete it at a later stage.  Alternatively, Staff App allows you to put available shifts out to tender.  This allows you to send available work out to all, or a selected group of employees, to take on the work on a first-come first-served basis.
